The library of Tashkent State University of Law has been enriched with rare legal literature valued at close to 1 million US dollars
Professor Ian Edge of SOAS University of London, a partner of Tashkent State University of Law, has donated to the university 1,695 titles of rare legal literature weighing nearly one tonne.
These rare resources will serve to train highly qualified specialists in English law in Uzbekistan, to advance academic research, and to further enhance the knowledge of the faculty and students.
The books are currently undergoing expert examination, inventory and registration. Once these processes are completed, the literature will be transferred to the library fund for use by the university's faculty members, researchers and students.
