The rector of Tashkent State University of Law reviewed the work being carried out to provide students with dormitory accommodation.
The rector was briefed on the operation of the information center and call center for placing students in dormitories and rented apartments. Additionally, a presentation was given by the responsible officials on the condition and addresses of the rental apartments identified.
The presentation noted that three university student dormitories with a total capacity of 1,153 places have been prepared for the new academic year. A database has also been compiled, including more than 750 rental apartments capable of accommodating up to 2,800 students.
In addition, issues concerning student housing provision, the prompt delivery of necessary information about rental apartments, and the coordination of the placement process were discussed.
Following this, the university rector visited the 1st and 2nd student dormitories and reviewed their readiness for the 2026/2027 academic year.
During the visit, the living conditions provided for students, the facilities created for them, the condition of the rooms, as well as the renovated showers and sanitary facilities were inspected.
