UrSU Strengthens Ties with Leading Polish Universities
Within the framework of the "Central Asia – European Union" congress in Samarkand, UrSU signed cooperation memorandums with Poland's Pomeranian, Gdansk Tech, and Wroclaw universities.
During the prestigious "Central Asia – European Union University Congress – 2026" held in Samarkand, Hikmat Matyoqubov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Urgench State University, secured significant agreements with several leading Polish higher education institutions. Memorandums of Understanding were signed with Pomeranian University in Słupsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and the prestigious University of Wrocław, which is ranked among the global Top-1000. These partnerships will focus on priority areas such as faculty and student exchange, joint research projects, the organization of international conferences and seminars, and the enhancement of educational quality based on international standards.
