Description

  Business management (sustainable business) program of education on sustainable development goals, sustainable business development, taxonomy of the "green" economy, achieving sustainable economic growth, effective implementation of sustainable business strategies, "green financing", effective use of ecology and natural resources, further improvement of the “green" level of territories, formation of modern knowledge, skills in the management of "green" projects and their practical application in the development of sustainable business.
Content and curriculum
During the study of the program, students study a number of fundamental disciplines related to the field of economics, including economic theory, business mathematics, macro and microeconomics, econometrics, fundamentals of sustainable business, green economics, sustainable economic development, business accounting, sustainable business innovation technologies, environmental economics and natural resources, energy economics, environmental management, green finance, climate change mitigation, behavioral economics, The "greens" acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills in the field of project management. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, allowing students to develop critical and creative thinking, problem identification, problem solving and decision-making skills in the context of sustainable business. Students will have the opportunity to analyze practical projects, participate in group projects and undergo internships in industry enterprises and organizations to gain practical experience.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the Business Management (Sustainable Business) educational program, students acquire the following knowledge and practical skills:
- creative thinking, negotiations, meetings, business correspondence and online communication;
 - areas for achieving sustainable business, production of renewable energy sources, alternative energy and low-carbon energy; reducing the impact of enterprises and organizations on the environment;
- definition of targets for energy saving and efficiency improvement;
- introduction of energy-saving technologies, increasing the competitiveness of enterprises in the business sector; - development of mechanisms for financial incentives for technological modernization and the introduction of “green” technologies; - implementation of tasks to significantly increase energy efficiency through energy management in economic sectors;
-identification of the necessary resources and opportunities for the integrated socio-economic development of territories based on the priority areas of sustainable growth;
- to promote the participation of the population and local communities by expanding the coverage of public services on climate change issues, increasing the economic activity of the population in the field of the “green” economy;
- sustainable and efficient use of natural resources;
- Strengthening the resilience of the national economy to natural disasters and climate change.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the bachelor's degree program can work in various positions in enterprises, organizations of various forms of ownership related to economics, including positions of an economist, a compliance control specialist, a specialist in the financial plan department, an internal auditor and an economic consultant. Graduates have the opportunity to work in ministries, government agencies, commercial and non-profit organizations, and service sector firms. In addition, this bachelor's degree program can serve as a base for students wishing to obtain a master's degree in all other fields of economics and business administration, which will allow them to become more specialized in this field
