General description

Bachelor's program in finance and financial technologies education in public finance, finance of economic entities, private finance, public expenditure, treasury, management of financial resources of corporate structures, organization of activities in the stock market, financial market operations, operations of financial systems, artificial in the field of finance provides comprehensive knowledge and skills on various aspects of artificial intelligence, big data and blockchain technology.
Content and curriculum
The program provides students with an understanding of a number of subjects related to finance and financial technology, including fundamentals of finance, finance, financial markets, institutions and instruments, public finance, public expenditure, treasury, corporate finance, financial risks, financial technology.
The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, enabling students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills in the context of finance and financial technology. Students will have the opportunity to analyze case studies, participate in group projects, and participate in internships to gain practical experience.
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the program include:
• Financial policy related to the fundamentals of finance, financial relations, financial management, theories of finance, financial infrastructure, financial news, movement of cash flows, time value of money and discounted analysis of cash flows, financial statements, financial activities of public and private financial institutions, financial risks, small and medium-sized enterprises’ finance, financing of startups, insurance, international financial relations ;
• Information on the content of public finance, scientific concepts, views on public revenues and expenditures , analysis of data on the impact of public finance on the macroeconomic balance, and formation of public finance reform concepts;
• The main theoretical aspects of corporate finance , including risk, return, time value of money, capital budgeting, stock valuation and debt capital financing, risk and expected return: principles of portfolio analysis , fundamentals of corporate capital valuation. Defining corporate debt, the role of the efficient market hypothesis in corporate analysis: theory and practice formation of knowledge skills in choosing the capital structure and determining the corporate value ;
• Treasury development of knowledge skills related to the analysis of the specific features of the functions of state and corporate financial institutions in the system, including the analysis of state financial control related to the execution of the state budget in the treasury system, the determination of legal and financial obligations in the implementation of the treasury management of the state budget;
• Building knowledge, skills and competencies in financial systems design and various aspects of the financial technology industry, from financial cryptography, blockchain technology, banking and payment systems to electronic trading and portfolio management;
Career opportunities
Graduates of the bachelor's program can work in various fields and positions related to finance and financial technology, in particular, positions of financier, trader, asset manager, accountant, treasurer, financial manager, risk manager, analyst, investment banker. Graduates work in budgetary organizations, central banks, commercial banks, non-banking organizations providing services to individuals and legal entities, money circulation, cash register, settlement departments, as well as crypto exchanges, insurance companies, electronic payment systems, electronic commerce entities, leasing companies, stock exchange and have the opportunity to work in over-the-counter markets, investment funds and companies, depositories, companies providing investment brokerage services, currency exchange, and commodity exchanges.
