Bachelor Full-time 4 year

About the programme

The purpose and objectives of the program: The purpose of this educational program is to develop knowledge and skills in the field of thermal energy and thermal engineering in students in the field of thermal energy and thermal engineering in the creation, installation, commissioning, maintenance, operation, diagnostics and repair of thermal technical equipment of nuclear and thermal power plants using modern design, calculation, mathematical, physical and computer modeling methods. A graduate of the bachelor's program will have universal and subject-specific specialized competencies that serve his social mobility and stability in the labor market.
Field of professional activity: Activities related to the design, calculation, modeling, installation, commissioning, maintenance, operation, diagnostics and repair of thermal technical equipment of nuclear and thermal power plants in the field of thermal energy and thermal engineering. As well as improving energy efficiency, research and optimization of thermal technological processes using modern mathematical, physical and computer modeling methods.
Professional activity objects: Thermal power plants (TPP), nuclear power plants (NPP), heat supply systems, steam turbines, steam boilers, heat exchangers, water treatment equipment, cooling systems (including dry and hybrid cooling towers), piping systems, heat measurement and control devices, automated control systems, as well as software complexes for modeling and calculating heat technical processes.
Features of the curriculum: The educational process is based on fundamental physical, mathematical and engineering training and is aimed at developing in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical skills in students. The main disciplines include technical thermodynamics, hydrodynamics, theory of heat and mass transfer, NPP and TPP energy equipment, heat networks and cooling systems, heat measurements, automatic control and diagnostics. The program pays special attention to working with modern computer modeling tools and analytical simulators. Graduates will additionally undergo special training adapted to the needs of the first NPP being built in Uzbekistan. During your studies, you will have the opportunity to do internships in research, design, and manufacturing organizations.
