60540100 – Mathematics and 60540200 – Applied Mathematics are bachelor's degree programmes designed to prepare specialists for educational institutions, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, research institutes, ICT companies, industry, banking, insurance, statistics, economics, manufacturing, public administration, and other sectors. The programmes cover mathematical analysis, mathematical modelling, computational methods, data processing, scientific research, teaching, and engineering activities.

Curriculum

Students study mathematical analysis, algebra and number theory, analytical and differential geometry, differential equations, probability theory and mathematical statistics, discrete mathematics, mathematical logic, functional analysis, optimization methods, computational mathematics, numerical methods, algorithms and programming, databases, artificial intelligence, information technologies, and mathematics teaching methodology.

The Applied Mathematics programme places particular emphasis on mathematical modelling, optimization, programming technologies, data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning fundamentals, and modelling of engineering and economic processes.
