Bachelor’s degree education in the field of 60230100 — Native Language and Literature (Russian Language) is provided in a full-time mode of study.

Graduates of the Bachelor’s degree programme in Native Language and Literature (Russian Language) are qualified to teach the Russian language and literature in general secondary, specialized secondary and professional educational institutions; conduct pedagogical activities in higher education institutions in relevant fields; engage in scientific research and academic-methodological activities; as well as perform professional activities related to translation, editing, textual studies, linguistic expertise and other professional fields related to language and literature.

Graduates of this educational programme may pursue professional activities related to their specialization at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes, research centers, educational institutions, mass media organizations, publishing houses and editorial offices, translation centers, enterprises of various forms of ownership, non-governmental and non-profit organizations, as well as central and local government authorities.

Within the framework of the programme, students develop knowledge, skills and competencies in the theoretical and practical foundations of the Russian language, Russian language and literature, linguistics, literary studies, pedagogy, psychology, teaching methodology, translation, speech culture and communicative competence.

The standard duration of the educational programme is 4 years.
