Social work (self -government bodies)

This academic program prepares qualified specialists in the effective organization of citizens’ self-governing bodies (mahalla system), management of social work, and resolution of social issues within communities. Students acquire knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of social work, the functioning of the mahalla system, social protection and support mechanisms, documentation management, citizen engagement, and public administration. Graduates can work as social workers and specialists in citizens’ assemblies, state and non-state social service institutions, local administrations (hokimiyats), and other relevant organizations.
