About the university

Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute was established on the basis of decision no PD-289 in June 21, 2022 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan " On measures to improve the quality of pedagogical education and further develop the activities of higher educational institutions training pedagogical personnel". Institute began its activity in the 2022/2023 academic year. The parameters for admission to the institute for full-time and evening forms of study for the 2022/2023 academic year are determined based on the decision of the state commission. From the 2022/2023 academic year, it is determined based on the parameters of the state order for admission to the republican HEI, which are approved annually. From the 2022/2023 academic year, it is determined based on the parameters of the state order for admission to higher educational institutions of the republic, which is approved annually.

Currently, the following faculties, departments and directions function at the institute.

In addition, the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute trains professional specialists in various fields, including mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, history, law, foreign languages, fine arts, engineering graphics, and other modern academic disciplines.

2 students of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute became world champions in hand-to-hand combat

On April 25-27, the World Championship among youth and teenagers was held in Moscow. In this tournament, members of the national team of Uzbekistan won 7 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals.

In particular, students of physical culture and sports in pre-school and primary education, Sevinch Rahimova in the 48 kg weight category, Ruhshona Shaykhiddinova in the 70 kg weight category took part and won the gold medal.

HISTORY OF THE FACULTY
    Resolution No. 408 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2021 “on measures to organize the activities of the Samaqrand State Pedagogical Institute ”was adopted. According to the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan PQ-289 of June 21, 2022, the Samarkand State  Pedagogical Institute began functioning as a separate higher educational institution. From the faculties of the institute, the Faculty of “Exact-natural sciences and physical culture” consists of 4 departments, which - 1. Department of Exact Sciences; 2. Department of Natural Sciences; 3. Department of theory and methodology of Physical Culture; 4. Departments of methods of teaching sports are established. In August 2023, the Faculty “Natural Science”  was separated from the base of the Faculty "exact-natural sciences and Physical Culture". The beginning of research in the field of natural sciences began (biology, chemistry and geography) in Samarkand, from 1927 to 1928. In Samarkand, work in the field of natural sciences can be studied in three parts. They are: Biology, Chemistry, Geography.   
The Faculty of Natural Sciences consists of 2 departments:

- Department "biology and geography";
- Departments of "chemistry".

Spiritual-Marian works

Various activities are organized by the faculty and the management of the Institute in order to make the leisure of the students of the faculty meaningful. The annual work plan for working with young people at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and the systematic establishment of spiritual and educational, educational work has been approved, the activities of “Zakovat”, “debating-debating”, “reading”, “chases and Zukko”, “student theater studio” on strengthening the ideological immunity of students, protection against various spiritual and ideological threats, the formation of a healthy spiritual atmosphere at the faculty have also been established. In addition, activities are carried out in various fields such as national values and Traditions, Promotion of the rich cultural norm of our ancestors, National Holidays, celebration of historical dates, propaganda and propaganda in the media, spiritual and educational work carried out with students living in talalaba residences and private rooms and cereals, social protection activities. Work has also been carried out to identify talented young people among the students studying at the faculty and prepare them for the National Science Olympiads and state scholarships.
The main goal of the spiritual and educational work carried out at the Faculty of Natural Sciences is to educate students and young people in the spirit of loyalty to national and universal values, expand their spiritual and aesthetic worldview, to elevate their thinking, to protect them from various harmful influences, to prevent them from falling into such paths, and to raise them to be true patriots and devoted citizens of New Uzbekistan, shaping their consciousness and awareness in a way that contributes to the development of the homeland.

According to the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-289 of June 21, 2022, the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute started functioning as a separate higher education institution. According to the decision of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 2021, the directions of mathematics and informatics, physics-astronomy, biology, chemistry, geography and physical culture at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute "Faculty of Exact Natural Sciences and Physical Culture" was established and operated in the academic year 2021-2023. Based on the decision of the Scientific Council of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute No. 9 dated July 3, 2023, the activity of the "Applied Mathematics and Physics" faculty was established.


The Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Physics consists of 2 departments:


Mathematics and computer science.
Physics and astronomy.
At the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Physics, there are two fields (programs) of study:

    Spiritual and educational works
    At the faculty, special attention is paid to the preparation of educational literature, monographs, educational and methodological manuals and developments, as well as educational and methodological complexes of the taught subjects. The created electronic collections are being placed on the information resources center of the Smarkand State Pedagogical Institute, the ZiyoNet network and the website of the faculty. 5 textbooks, 3 monographs, 3 training manuals, 12 training manuals, more than 200 articles and theses were published by professors and teachers in the last 3 years. In particular, in 2023, professors and teachers published 13 scientific articles in "Scopus" and Web of Science databases and 31 scientific articles in foreign journals with an impact factor, contributing to the ranking of the university. He received about 20 copyright certificates from the Intellectual Property Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Spiritual and educational work at the faculty teaches students universal cultural values, centuries-old traditions and rich heritage of our people. to master, our President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev put forward "Increasing attention to young people, widely involving the young generation in culture, art, physical education and sports, forming in them the skills of proper use of information technologies, promoting reading among young people" , issues of ensuring the employment of women and girls" aimed at forming high moral and ethical qualities based on 5 important initiatives.

HISTORY OF THE FACULTY
      The Faculty of "Primary Education and Humanities" of the Institute was opened in 1966 under the name of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute named after Sadriddin Ainiy "Preschool Education and Methodology". In 1992, the Pedagogical Institute joined the Samarkand State University. Uzbekistan According to the decision of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan on July 2, 2021, the "Faculty of Pedagogy" was established at the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute, and it began its activities in the 2021-2023 academic years. Based on the decision of the Scientific Council of the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute No. 9 dated July 3, 2023, the activity of the Faculty of "Primary Education and Humanities" was organized.

HISTORY OF THE FACULTY
     The Faculty of “Physical Culture, Sports and preschool education” of the Samarkand State pedagogical Institute was reorganized by the decision of the Council of the Institute on August 28, 2023. Prior to this, the so-called” exact and Natural Sciences, Physical Culture " had been in operation since 2021. The faculty achieved great results in 2 years, ready to conquer huge heights in its activities even in the future.
   In 2021-2022, the faculty was headed by Prof.B.T.Haydarov, from 2023 to the present, is headed by dots.Sh.t.Normominov as Dean. Initially, the faculty established training of qualified specialists in the field of public education in the areas of Exact Sciences, Natural Sciences, Physical Culture. Since the academic year 2023-2024, the direction of preschool education has been attached to the faculty, and the directions of specific PHAs and Natural Sciences have been formed as separate faculties. After that, the faculty operates physical culture, sports activities and preschool education. The faculty is among the leaders in the training of high-potential, qualified personnel for the public education system of our republic and contributes to the socio-economic, scientific-pedagogical development of our country. 
The Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and preschool education has 3 departments, such as “theory and methodology of Physical Culture”, “method of teaching sports” and “preschool education”, a total of more than 60 Main and more than 40 seats are functioning today.

The faculty operates on the basis of an annual plan of work on spiritual and educational work. One of the top priorities in this plan is to serve as the “5 important initiatives” promoted by our President. In addition to spiritual and educational work, organizational work, spiritual and educational work aimed at the implementation of a common and pedagogical culture in the faculty community, cooperation with educational institutions, parents, neighborhoods, state and public organizations in the formation of a person capable of making a worthy contribution to the development of society, national values and Traditions, Promotion of rich cultural norms of our ancestors, , activities are carried out in various areas such as spiritual and educational work, social protection activities conducted with students living in talalaba residences as well as private apartments. It also consists of the work to identify and deal with talented young people and the preparation of them for prestigious Republican examinations and state scholarships.
In the academic year 2021-2022 at the faculty, on the initiative of the dean of the faculty, on the order of the rector of the University, the activities of the Scientific Council of the faculty for research work were established. In departments subordinate to the structural structure of the faculty, doctoral students, base doctoral students and independent researchers conduct scientific research in a specific direction. The training of highly qualified scientific and scientific pedagogical personnel at the faculty is carried out according to the established procedure.The faculty has a teaching staff, research staff, teaching staff and other ministerial positions. Foreign service trips of employees of the constituent entity of the faculty are carried out on the basis of the interim instruction “on the procedure for traveling from higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan to foreign trips”approved by the Ministry, with the consent of the rector of the University. Professors and teachers who work in departments within the structural structure of the faculty improve their qualifications at least once every three years. The rights and obligations of its employees in the structural structure of the faculty are determined by the Charter of the University, the rules of internal order and etiquette, and the directives of the position.

HISTORY OF THE FACULTY 
     Ensuring the implementation of the decree of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan "on measures for the further development of the pedagogical education sector"PQ-4623 of February 27, 2020, as well as training competitive personnel for the pedagogical education sector, improving the quality of education, introducing advanced Finnish educational technologies into the sphere, in order to establish an effective system of training of highly qualified specialists with the skills of applying modern knowledge and pedagogical technologies, the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 408 of June 30, 2021 “on measures to organize the activities of the Uzbek-Finnish pedagogical Institute of Samagrand State University”was adopted. Based on the decision of the president of the Republic of Uzbekistan PQ-289 of June 21, 2022, the Uzbek-Finnish pedagogical Institute began to be active as a separate higher educational institution.
   The faculty is leading in the training of high-potential, qualified personnel for the educational system of our Republic, contributing to the socio-economic, scientific-pedagogical development of our country. Especially in our republic, the native language and literature, Russian language and literature, foreign languages provide close support for the formation of the necessary literature, regulatory documents for the educational sphere, improving the skills of school teachers.
   Based on the decision of the Scientific Council of the Samarkand State pedagogical Institute No. 9 of July 3, 2023, the Faculty of “Philology” was established in the name of the Faculty of “foreign languages and Humanities” of 2021. 2023 was reorganized under the name of the Faculty of Philology. 
In the academic year 2021-2022, Associate Professor Abdullayeva Albina Suratovna was at the faculty, in the academic year 2022-2023, Associate Professor Normominov Sherzod Toychievich served as Dean.
Since August 30, 2023, associate professor Fayziev Mirzaali Asfandiyorovich has been working as Dean.

Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports Training Narmamatova Sabina G‘ayrat qizi is one of the talented students of the Theory and Methodology of Physical Education and Sports Training program, who has been achieving high results in scientific, creative, and sports activities. Along with her studies, she is actively engaged in research work, coaching, and public activities. Faculty of Natural Sciences, Biology Program G‘aniyeva Nasiba Nuraliyevna is one of the talented students of the Biology program at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, distinguished by her scientific and creative activity as well as innovative initiatives.
